Wow, super super lag.
Is this happening to everyone? or just me. In JQ here btw.

i cant get it. takes forever to log in ….soon as i do i get dc’d in character select.

Yep I’m lagging too, 5 second delay on everything.

i got in, saw i was guildless, but i could see my guild mates chattin, lag like mad and subsequently game client rebooted by itself lol!

My guild was in a rally in a borderland and most of us got DCed. Logged back in on my necro in queensdale and couldn’t use any abilities or get back into the BL. Could log back in fine from char select though. Swapped to my guard and he could use abilities but was really laggy then he stopped responding at all. Tried restarting client and now can’t log in from splash screen at all. Forums also seem really slow. Not affecting everyone though, just east coast to midwest maybe?

Was doing some Personal Story until I started lagging, 2-3minute(!) delays on skills, then I DCed just before I got to the fun part… Can’t log back in now.

minutes before teq was going to spawn :/. was busy with work and night class’s all day and wanted to hop on real quick but guess i’ll have to wait till tomorrow.

From what it looks like, the one guy intended to only take down Wildstar NA, but it seems they were actually pretty surprised to find that their attack on the Dallas datacenter managed to take out all NA NCSoft games.

If that is true – Wow.

I prefer to think that we all killed the servers due to how popular
Living World Season 2 is.
The servers couldn’t handle the sudden influx of players lol

It’s working for me… for now. Actually, scratch that.. still a touch of lag but it’s playable at least.

…Well, that eases my mind a little. I was in the giant battle in Dry Top when I couldn’t do anything for minutes at a time.

Cue spewed curses and game dissatisfaction assessment. :\

Ah well, guess I can’t blame a fluke. Guess I’ll go back to blaming zone design and weakly-written NPCs.

1. Any idea how much another basket would cost them per month? Unrealistic expectation.
2. High availability setups work well for websites that need fault-tolerant / uninterrupted service, but not gaming services (that requires as near real time data connections as possible).
3. You seriously think any “game” is going to fall into the “needs to be fault-tolerant” cost range? That’s cute.
