Is it idle to do Fractal of the Mist below level 30?

I want to do some group dungeons on my alts, but all of them are below 33. I read that FoTM scales levels up.
But would it be idle to try to get a group for them while below 30?

people won’t take you unless they are nice. level 1 fotm is easy even for a level 30.

hey I notice people doing groups but they at level 10 in the FoTM. can my 80 character skip to level 10 to join that group or do I need to go level by level?

Anyway, you can join a fractal level 10 group. I did a level 10 run and I was only level 4 myself, it got me leveled to 5 and I got some extra reward chest from it. I assume that’s the daily thing? So can I get ascended rings when I join a level 10 group without being level 10 myself?

no. you won’t get a ring but you do get a daily chest for doing a even level map. 2 4 6 8 10.. ect.

You will only get rewards for up to the level you are at.

The main thing is not to confuse fractal level with combat level. Someone saying they are lvl 10 fractal does not mean it will effect their combat in anyway within the fractal. Think of it as your sPVP ranking for example. You can do the level 10 fractals at level 1 and from what I understand it should not be any harder than the level one until you start doing the teen fractals (level 10+) however I could be wrong in this.

I will say tho I did a fractal earlier with a group of people who were all level 1-2 in fractals and who were not very experianced there. I was level 8 so we did a level 8 fractal. It took longer than an experianced group would take but I put that down to learning issues for the group and not difficulty level. Also everyone was not combat lvl 80 either, I think we had 1 level 60ish.

In the end teamwork prevailed and we all had a good time so you can too.
