I haven’t seen an extra item in dailys since before lost shore it seems.

Managed a few black lion kits, 19 fine transmutation stones and a couple mystic forge stones leveling my ranger to 80. Leveled my thief to 80 and haven’t seen a single extra item in dailys. Is it just me or did they nerf the hell out of it?

(Seriously, the chance of getting one of those extra items is really small. You just happened to get one over and over and over and over. Maybe you should try flipping a coin and see if it comes up heads about 50 times in a row, just to check?)

Its not guarenteed , about 1/5 chance i think

Karma boost and mystic coins has been it for me.

Just think it is low chances in general. I still get those items every now and then.

I have a bunch of the black lion trader things from dailies. I never use ’em. :o

To go from getting it every once in a while to not at all just seems a bit odd. It wasn’t like I got them in a row or over and over and over again. I’d go a week sometimes without seeing anything. And it’s been well over a month since the last time I saw one.

It’s just you. I wish I were that lucky to have ever gotten so many things back-to-back. I’ve gotten every daily since launch and only every so often do I get anything of note.

They weren’t back to back. I took my time leveling, went through every zone, got 100% cleared. I was 80 at 51% map completion on my ranger from doing everything plus some crafting. By the time I hit 100% map completion, I had those items from dailys.

I’m at 80 on my thief, with 53% map completion and haven’t seen anything from the dailys.

I run the dailys on my mid level ele. In the past week I have gotten a Black Lion salvage kit and some regular transmutation stones. Just RNG in action I guess.

I don’t get anything except a coin and karma boost for weeks now. There is no point to loot in this game. I am now sticking to WvW for the PvP aspect because that is the only thing keeping me here. If I played this game only for loot I would have quit weeks ago when things began to dry up. 23 Jan for a certain release date is looking really good atm…

I’m pretty close to this and also dungeon runs with guildies.

Hard to say for me I have been spending my time playing the TP instead of the game just trying to get ahead and it isnt fun at all.
I think they nerfed everything hard multiple times and open world loot especially. It seems the only way other then spending all your time buying and selling is frac dungeon. That is the one and only place to get loot and rewards.
Last time I got one I had karma jug and that is about it so I dont bother.
It is frustrating that you only get rewarded by doing what they want or running your cc for gems. bad.

Yeah, I only gotten one BL salvage kit and ~4 other extras since I started playing. In the recent weeks all I got was mystic coins and karma jug – and that tonic tastes like Dr. Pepper.

I get extras sometimes, it’s just random

totally worth doing the daily though, it’s quick and useful

I just now completed mine as in 2 minutes ago and got the usual Karma Jug/Mystic Coin + Black Lion Salvage Kit. I would say its unchanged.

daily reward is so pathetic in general… 5s, some purple numbers and a coin, yaaaaaaaay.

You are just having a streak of bad luck.

I’ve gotten 3 extra items in the last 2 weeks, black lion salvage kits were a nice surprise.

I like the daily reward, 4500 karma is pretty sweet and far more than I earn doing DE’s. Then again, I’m not 80 yet so I’m not in the min/max grindface mode.

i’ve only ever gotten one black lion salvage kit. maybe more from before but in the past month, just that lol. and i do dailies, well.. as daily as can be. been around since head start too hehe so you just have awesome luck my friend. hope it comes back soon, heh

It’s just you, I got 25 BL salvage kits from my daily yesterday. The day before that I got some below level 80 t-stones.

Usually I’ll only get the coin+karma though.

BL salvages sometimes and today a instant repair can. but not many extra as in the past

Seems to be a lot of “unlucky”. I think it the norm. Anything more than karma and coin seems to be extremely ‘lucky’. So I am on the ‘nerfed’ side of this discussion.
I used to get more, but that has drastically changed.

I never had any extra item from the daily since the start of the game.

It’s the “you’re being punished for being level 80” bug. It’s as ridiculous as the “you’re being punished for farming in the same location forever” bug.

I noticed it too.

I got a black lion salvage kit a few days ago.

They didn’t nerf it, it’s just everyone’s respective luck.

You still get the occasional extra goodie; I got a Mystic Forge Stone this morning for example.

It was most surely toned down. Before the liquid karma came into play, I would get an extra item along with my coin half the time. Now, Im lucky to get one 10% of the time.

I haven’t gotten 1 BL kit from daily in the past 2 months.

Another week of dailys, completed monthly and still nothing. I’m convinced they nerfed the drop rate.

I was under the impression from my experiences, that the lower the level of the character, the better the chances of receiving an extra item.
