Is it just me or my server?
are you green ?
In eotm you have to be green.
in pve, theres is a mega server system. no, its you not your server
For map events in the Silverwastes you can go into the LFG and join a party that’s running a taxi for players. They’ll get you into a populated map. Players are joining these event maps, not staying in maps that don’t have the event going.
EotM is a bit weirder. Sometimes it’s just dead if you’re not OG. :/ People get tired of being bag farmed all day. lol
I is red now.
K, I’ll try the dungeon finder. Didn’ t think it was used for maps.

That’s why they call it a Looking For Group tool and not a dungeon finder – it can be used for anything. Dungeons are probably the most common one because you have to have a group to do them but people use it for open-world meta events, story achievements, even finding gathering materials.
People often use it to advertise populated Silverwastes maps, since it’s often hard to get into one simply by going there, and people on nearly full maps want to fill them up.
“Life’s a journey, not a destination.”
If there are less people, there will be less map. That’s the purpose of mega server.
Most likely everyone flood in during EOTM reset time. Get the uncontested points. And when the train dont’ go well (getting zerged by OG), everyone quit.
For silverwate, you have to use the LFG. Since almost everyone is trying to get in a map near breach. So if you just relog, Anet will just keep putting you in empty map.
At weekends, there are usually more people online. This means there are more map instances/shards of each map, to compensate for the increase in population.
You might have been unlucky and have been placed into the slightly lower populated versions of these maps.
Ahhh, this isn’t exactly working very well with SW. I mean I got in once and had a good campaign. But no luck since. I try to join server and I get “full” or end up on the same stupid server where no one is. And what is a teq?
Teq is Tequatl, the big dragon boss in Sparkfly Fen

Teq is Tequatl. The dragon boss in Sparkfly Fen. One easy time to remember is that comes on at game reset every day. Other than that, you’ll need to check the timers for the Meta events.
ANet may give it to you.
Great. Now how about:
sw 3/4 50 j/l sadfwg
What the flip does that mean?
sw 3/4 = Silverwaste with 3 of the 4 towers under Pact control.
Archeage = Farmville with PK
Great. Now how about:
sw 3/4 50 j/l sadfwg
What the flip does that mean?
Silverwastes – 3/4 forts captured – 50% foothold progression – leave the party when you join the map !
Thief – Ion Dire
Fort Aspenwood
Here are some of the more common, older abbreviations. It doesn’t have the mysterious sadfwg, but you can look it over. Abbreviations
ANet may give it to you.
It’s mathematically likely that, during off-peak hours, any random silverwastes map will have fewer people:
- Anyone who farms uses LFG to transfer, leaving the default map emptier.
- Any map that gets close to full will cause people transferring in to spawn on a new (lower pop) map.
- If the map has less than a threshold number, then ‘casuals’ (to the map) tend to leave rather than stick it out, causing the pop to drop.
And the same thing happens in EotM: if your color is doing well, it gets full; if it’s not, ‘casuals’ tend to leave and farmers look for another map.
Keep in mind OP that with the megaserver there is several situation where you gonna end up in a low population maps even if a lot of people are playing on that map.
- EOTM : This map is on a 4 hours match up. Usually, people fill up several maps right when the 4 hours starts. If you try to join later, there is a big chance that you will end up on the last map, the map with the less people on it. Sometime you are luck and enough people left the first few map that you can join on those instead, but the best way to get on a map with a lot of people is to join at the beginning of the 4 hours.
- Silverwaste : People tend to group up on maps with the LFG and full maps. So every time you enter Silverwaste by your own, you gonna end up on one of the not full maps, which is usually also a near empty map.
- Sparkly Fen at Teq : Around 15min before Teq, the maps are usually still near empty, but in the next 10mins a LOT of people will fill out a LOT of maps. Especially the Teq at reset time. 5min before, most map are fulls, so you usually start to end up on less good maps. At that point people start to use the LFG to make sure they have a good map. The goal here is to regroup the most people possible on the least number of map possible.
