I don’t think this is possible, but I’d like it to be. Can we get the other order armors on 1 character? I’d rather not reroll another race/profession combination just to get the armor I like.

Norn Guardian – Aurora Lustyr (Lv 80)
Mia A Shadows Glow – Human Thief (Lv 80)

You have to run another character through the story line again at least to that point. You can’t do it any other way.

You can always create the same race and profession and redo the story line. Doesn’t have to be a different race/profession.

After you get it, use transmutation ‘trick’ to break the soulbinding—→account bound. Put it in the bank and have your original pick it up and transmute again.

Well, you can get another character to be apart of that order and then transmute the armors to be account bound and used on the character of your choice. Example, I wanted vigil leggings on my priory warrior, so my vigil ranger bought the leggings and transmuted them over….

Be warned that its kind of costly, two Transmutation crystals per part, as the order armors that are sold are level 80, and so will be your target armor.

Can you not transmute items from an open bank tab?

I could pretty easily get arond spending gems on another transmutation stone by just buying a cheap exotic armor with the stats I want that isn’t soulbound.

Clearly ANet needs to make this a little more user friendly though.

What do you mean, transmuting them from an open bank tab? You need to have all three items in your bag: armour piece with the looks, armour piece with the stats and the crystal. I can’t see how they can make it more user friendly…

You have to break the soulbinding first, which means a transmutation to a low level white item first, keeping the skin and losing the stats. This step is the one that changes it from soulbound to account bound. Then a second transmutation of the skin to the amor with stats you wish to keep. So it requires 2 fine T stones.

I’m sure Astral’s explanation is more than sufficient, but I wanted to add that you can only break the soul bounding with the character it is soul bound to. It doesn’t work just by opening a bank tab and doing it there.

Crystals are expensive, which is why I always stockpile during sales (I have about 96 ATM) I bet there are going to be sales this weekend, and even if they aren’t transmutation crystals, you never know. I would wait till then

So it requires 2 fine T stones.

It only requires 1, but it might require 2 depending on your target armor.
At the minimum it’ll cost you 1 Transmutation Crystal (that’s what fine T-stones are called now), and 1 Transmutation Stone (the lvl.79 and below one).

So you’d do the following, on your Order-Alighned character:
Transmutation Crystal —-> Order Armor (Lvl.80) + White Armor (Lvl.20~)
= White Armor with Order Skin (Lvl.20, Account Bound).

Then, on target character:
Transmutation Stone —-> White Armor with Order Skin (Lvl.20) + Berzerker Armor of the Berzerker (Lvl.79) = Berzerker Armor of the Berzerker with Order Skin (lvl.79)

With Ascended Armor just around the corner (and most of it ugly, too), this might be wiser in the longrun then going all out and using a second transmutation Crystal for a level 80 final product.
