Yes, if you do any of the region based tracks, you’ll get about 4 Tomes of Knowledge, which grants a level (per tome). It’s not exactly an effective way to level up, as it would take a casual player about roughly 1 week to complete a reward track. So 4 levels a week would take you nearly 5 months to get a level 80.

Yes, its one of the good things they added in the update, you get an item called a tome of knowledge that gives you +1 level, that you get every tier on the reward tracks in SPvP, so like ~5-8 matches for a level?

I still think that WvW is the quickest way to level but this is a nice alternate for those who don’t care much for PvE. It also has the added bonus of when you hit 80, you should have a pretty full set of gear to use too.

If you don’t like PvE, simply don’t level. There is no reason to level past 12 in PvP.

Don’t you get rewards based on level in PvP?
So if you’re on 12 you’ll get lvl 12 related stuff (like crafting items)?

Why? i just started GW2 , not alot of knowledge!
Because all stats are normalized in PvP, so there’s no reason to level other than unlocking grandmaster traits, which are arguably worse than the current traits.
I think the best way to level up in PvP would be by following the Zerg in Edge of the Mist. I don’t level up any of my character anymore (have 1 level 80 for each professions), but a lot of guildmates started to use that method and they usually all get like 5 levels per hours.

If you’re speaking on WvW, then yes, you can level quite quickly with the right zerg. You should be concerned with hitting 80 in WvW because there are significant advantages based on gear.
With sPvP? It doesn’t make a difference at all.
I plan on leveling a warrior solely on PvP soon.
Yes, I’ve gotten 64 tomes of knowledge in PvP since the April 15th update (16 of them from ranking up from 64 to 80).
Plus, I think you can earn experience by completing daily achievements in PvP now? I’m not sure as all of my characters are 80 and I don’t look at their xp bar much.
That being said, I would recommend playing pve/wvw/pvp to level up (if you enjoy all 3).
