Is it worth it?
This is the situation,Gw2 is worth it if u tend to do Living Story, there is only 1 left but game have big and beautiful world that u can explore. On another hand World that u gonna explore will seem dead so no rich or populated world here thanks to “main towns” and people afking there.GW2 is definitely worth of playing especially if u are casual player that dont have much time for games but dont expect rich world.Sadly ability to stay afk and teleport wherever u want limits exploration only on first 7 days which is enough for u to take 80 and never visit that area again. If u want rich world and free to play then go for TERA
Ok, don’t listen to saalle, because you don’t even know what Living Story is. You can completely ignore Living Story if you want.
GW2 is fantastic if you are looking for a game you and your gf can play a couple hours here and there. It is extremely duo friendly. My gf and I play almost every day for an hour or two and have a blast.
Leveling up is consistent throughout, even as you get higher and higher level, you don’t slow down in progress, making it very casual friendly.
It’s a medical condition, they say its terminal….
Thanks for your input guys,
I think I will try the game as I enjoyed it initially but due to time constraints, I quit.
I stopped playing for four months, and when I came back, the game play was still familiar to me. Sure, some maps got updated and new events were added. It didn’t stop me from playing how I wanted to play, which was to explore each map. Time doesn’t seem to be a big problem for a casual player, and I only play about six hours a week.
I think you two could have a lot of fun just facing whatever you meet in your travels. The game is extremely beautiful, even most of those who have other gripes admit to that.
Take your time looking around and listening too. The NPCs may just have something to say. Sometimes it may lead to an adventure, sometimes you can get a laugh. Sometimes it reveals something about how the locals think about things.
As for the Endgame: It starts at lvl 2. Right after tutorial. Of course added levels expand your possibilities of places to see or gear you can get. But this is not a race to top level. It is a journey.
I say its worth it.
My girlfriend & myself have been playing since betas, and we both have enjoyed since then. Finding a layed back guild has helped us, and with similar interests has gone a long way for us. With a lot of choices of looks, it has worked for both of us, since I can craft her stuff & she can craft stuff for me (I try to get her stuff crafted 1st, focusing on 1 of us at a time). Dungeons have been alright cause its 1 less person to find, but myself & her do not focus on dungeons much, we just roam around maps doing bosses. We spend about 2-4 hours nearly everyday playing, or just enough time to do daily.
I think its great that this game has been easy to approach & step away from at anytime, which has been great for us. So yup, its worth it.
This game has the richest world in any MMO currently on the market.
So if that’s what you are looking for, you’ve found it.
