Hi.

I wander if is possible to change the stats of Ascended Trinkets (Amulet, Accessory and Ring) like we can do with armor and weapon. If so, how?

There are other reasons. There are specific names for each trinket – it might be an issue to convert something to a specifically named item rather than a generic one. Names on trinkets are their equivalent of skins on weapons.

Offesnive/defensive versions would prob cause further complications

Trinkets are purchasable through currency methods. Easy to obtain and incentivise content

It is not possible.

The probable reasons:

• Trinkets (aside from backpacks) are relatively cheap compared with armor and weapons.
• There is no L500 Jeweler, so no recipe to build an ascended equivalent of an insignia/inscription.

That said, there’s no fundamental reason why the mystic forge couldn’t do swap changes using some sort of exotic jewel (the exotic equivalent of insignia/inscription). My guess is that ANet didn’t see a compelling need to upend that corner of the economy until they are ready to release Jeweler r500.
