Heya.

I’m wondering since it already happened sometimes, they say they will update in one day, but the update is only at the end of the day (the timezone where in Europe is already the next day), then alot of people only plays next day (mostly for europeans tz).

Then i’m wondering if this update will be the samething? If so, I wont be waiting till dawn to play.

Pacific Time, NA. They are an american company, they operate and will release updates on an american time zone.

Fairly sure they are in Washington, which is -8:00 PST

Its usually PST US time or similar. Expect it to be available between 8-30 hours from now

Last time the update was 2AM, in the normal GMT Lisbon,London,etc…

Europe will be Tuesday morning for the patch, so dont get too excited for tomorrow

It is currently Sunday, 2:37 PM in the land of PST.

The absolute earliest the patch would go live is in 9.5 hours but odds are it will be more like noon-ish PST since they seem to like to launch patches when they are at work to deal with any problems (which honestly I appreciate).

So probably looking at more like 20-22 hours from now if it’s noon PST (or as much as 30-34 hours if it’s late evening).

Yes, I prefer a smooth launch also. Rather a few hours late than early and unsteady.

Based on previous M.O. and developer/CSR work times, the patch will most likely go up during American off peak time, so either early in the morning (14 hours from the writing of this post) or late at night (30 hours from writing this post) but it’s very difficult to tell when the actual time of release will be.

Yup I guess i’m going skip today. Last times I was online for hours and till dawn, nothing about update.

I would like them to stop messing with TimeZones, people will wait and wait and wait today and if it is like other times, wait for nothing. Win more in sleeping and playing tomorrow.

It’s 6 am on the 28th here in PST so it will launch sometime in the next 18 hours.

28th PST, that means they have up until midnight PST to deploy it, which means up until 09.00CET on the 29th since US time zones are 7-9 hours behind CET.

Would be surprised if ANet could get the patch up in the next 25min… ^^

Nah, it’s always on the next day for me…

i expect them to release 12.00 (noon). this mean 21.00 cet (europe). in other words, in the middle of a first dungeon run:)

They consistently release the updates between 1600 and 2000 PM PST. I would not expect the update for about 12 hours.
