HI all,

I have hear form many players that there are sales on the gems store. Are there like a fix date or time when sale are up ? or when there are new items introduced ?

If so please tell me so that i can spend my gems more wisely.

P.s I am looking for the copper fed salvage thingy ~ is that a good investment ? or should i wait ? for the silver version ?

sometimes they post updates in various places. I never see them in time. they have a game updates section of the forums, a news section on their home page, a twitter feed, a youtube feed, a facebook page, … , … , …
just ignore them all
two things that will guarantee inform you: listen to people in map chat or your friends. If there is an awesome sale, people will be discussing it. and check the gem store’s promotions page each day. sales will always last for a minimum of a day.

The News Blog always announces the sales. Also, checking the Promotions Tab in the Gem Store will show all sales, as well as the time period said sales are offered (even a countdown with how much time is left on the sale).

They rarely announce ahead of time so check Tuesday and Friday every week on the TP in the promotions tab.

there’s a news blog now? ugh! I would ask for a link, but I know I’m not going to also read it, so nm.

Lol. Top of this page (Community – News)…been there for a long time. (Though, they could fix it to take you directly to News…sigh.) Your choice, of course, to read it or abstain.

when I do check out their news page, I always go to google and search for “gw2 news”. but I haven’t noticed many sales advertised there.

If you mouse-over the Community Header on the page Community took you to, you will see the sub-heading ‘News’. That’s why my link instructions said ‘Community, then, News’. Perhaps, I should have put in two ‘Community’ parts. It’s also why I said it would be nice if they had the link to News on the Forum site pages, like they do on the other pages of the Official site.

The news is on the homepage now including a link to an rss feed you could subscribe to
