I’m currently on Blackgate and have been since headstart. From what I gather, it’s mostly a WvW oriented server… and I don’t really play WvW. The bonuses are nice, but quite frankly I’m getting really tired of going to any area that isn’t Queensdale (or sometimes Harathi Hinterlands) and having all of the waypoints contested, and none of the events completed. : ( It gets pretty lonely.

I’ve seen people say that it’s a server thing, and that ‘their server is pretty active’ … but I’ve never seen anyone actually mention said server. I’m just thinking it’s time for a server change.

sorrows furnace is pretty active during the daytime PST and even at night not every waypoint is contested

An active WvW server doesn’t mean it’s not also active PvE (altho I question if any server has active open-world zones). Only 1.6% of average server capacity can be on WvW at a time, regardless. So even a server with 4 full wvw queues has room for an active pve community.

What we lack is motivation for it.

All servers are pretty heavily invested in WvW buddy. Im on SBI which was #1 WvW server for about the first three months…now its slipping quite a bit. Either way, my PVE experience has never dwindled.

All right, let me rephrase. Regardless of WvW investment, I have heard that there are servers out there that still have an active PvE community. Mine doesn’t. That’s why I’m asking.

Sadly, due to the ‘Mysterious’ change in loot drop rates, most people feel it is pointless to farm/pve in open world. Fractals is where you will find people now, sadly …

This is why the open world has died badly, Go do FotM like all the other clones or sit in Lions arch and talk crap all day, is pretty much our options since the loot died..

‘IF’ you can get on (its full most the time) come to Desolation server, we have a very very active PVE player base !

Tarnished Cost has a vary active PVE, but than were also Full up. even after they lifted the cap we were the first sever to reach FULL in only a mater of moments

I’m on Tarnished Coast and it is always hopping. There aren’t any zones…even the 1-15 zones that are “dead”. WvWvW always has a 30min wait time and there are hundreds of people in LA…all the time.
