is there any difference in Exotic armors besides appearance? once u hit 80 u can buy an entire exotic set with gold, then there are other exotic armors that are harder to get like running dungeons for tokens.

just wondering is the only difference aesthetics? or are exotics tiered in stats and some exotic sets have more stats than others?

Besides stat types (zerk, rabid, carrion, dire, apothecary etc), the only difference is aesthetics.

There are exotics that aren’t level 80, they have less stats than level 80 pieces, but all level 80 pieces are the same in their stat type.

Aesthetics (horizontal progression) is what the game was supposed to be…… then along came the ascended grind.

All exotics of some type (Berserker, Soldier, Knight, …) have exactly the same stats, so it’s all about looks.
