They do not bring down the game for patches. Just close the game and download the patch when it is released.

I’ve been asking that for a long time.

The “maintenance” time depends direct on your connection speed ;D

Yep, one of the perks of playing GW2 is not having those huge maintenance downtimes that many other MMOs have so regularly. =)

Any idea when it goes live? So far i’ve not seen or heard anything about what time the patch is.
