The answer is… no. Not really.

I’d rather have more elites to choose from, or better the existing elites (charrzooka for example is just plain stupid, the mortar for the Engineer, etc).

The Charrzooka may seem stupid to you, but the racials are based on fluff rather than power.

What’s the point in having more than one race if some are more powerful than others?

True, but some already are. Norns for example get leopard that can outsprint anything. Asura had pain inverter as regular skill, which then again is crippled now. The example with charrzooka is that its not even usable, since you loose all your weapon skills.

I’d use the elite slot for a 4th utility in a heart beat.

I enjoy Dagger Storm/MI and TW/RF on my mains, but I’m not in love with them :P I’d trade them at the drop of the hat for another utility. Although I suspect it’d bring horrible balancing issues.

i was thinking the same elite in my build was meh wishing i could slot in one utility skill which make build better
