I would like to know if I use the program in this video can get me banned. Its creator says in the comments that they’ve been using it for a year without a problem but it seems to me that it has to read the memory to provide that kind of info, not sure though.

Yeah, don’t use it.

There’s a few like that, haven’t heard of anyone getting in trouble. Some people even stream with it. ANet has been asked directly dozens of times, and so far I haven’t seen any comments on it.

Anets stance is that any program that gives a gameplay advantage or alters the game code is not allowed, I don’t see any gameplay advantage but if this pulls stats from the code without using the API, it most certainly alters the game code to do so, in which case using it is a bannable offense.

EDIT: Actually scratch that first, I can definitely see an advantage in exposing any portion of your enemies build in PvP, in fact I’d say that’s a huge advantage.
