I was think about coming back to gw2. But is it still popular are there as many people are there used to be?

Yes, at least on my server Seafarers Rest (Eu), loads of players…

But, if you need to level up to 80 via PvE its going to be a lonely experience because obviously 99% of players are lvl 80 now and doing level 80 stuff.

So if you want company levelling up do WvW (the new EoTM map is great for lvling) or do champion train in Queensdale. You could explore new zones, as a single player experience and do those other two if you want other players for company.

The massive amounts of overflows in PVE and PVP, I’d say it’s kitten full of players.

I can vouch for leveling via WvW. What an exhilarating way to do it!

Woah! Surprise! The trolls weren’t the first ones to post in this thread and tell you how horrible the game and empty it is when it isn’t. Seriously, I’m really surprised. I sometimes feel they spend every waking moment looking for a thread to rant their hate towards guild wars 2. But no, the game isn’t dead in the slightest. Pick a good popular server though if you want to see more people while leveling. Enjoy!
