Are traits going to be free to change how we want whenever? Are we really getting more?

This is awesome, but it just sounds too good to be true. Like, after this time of not getting many of the things we’ve been asking for, and then BAM this amazing change is coming all of the sudden.

Am I still asleep in my bed, having a really nice dream or is this actually happening lol

Looks legit, and they have several more blog posts before the feature pack ships. So lots of good stuff to look forwards to.

This is the first of 12 big updates included in the coming patch. So 11 more update news to be awaited.

Really need Trait, Equipment, Skill Templates. But, I can settle for Trait template for now.

They told us months ago they’d give us a big features patch once LS Season 1 was done. They’ve been working on it all along, based on their own experience and our feedback, and now they’re starting to reveal what they have been doing. Remember they can’t do changes this big in a couple of days, but they don’t have to clue us in until the changes are imminent.

It’s real.

They could have released many of these LONG ago, but they’ve held them back. They’re doing this now to divert attention from the release of a certain combat MMO competitor. Personally, I don’t like feeling manipulated, and I most definitely do. My plane from Tyria to Tamriel leaves in just over a week.

The only bad thing is that if the other 11 updates as big as this one, it will become an expansion like update [ as in the part in an expansion where game mechanics gets tweaked ] which make me wonder if an expansion will come anytime soon.

OT: Exciting change ahoy and, if this is just the first of twelve announcements to come, I’m looking forward to see what the other ones bring. Here’s hoping for account bound dyes and Legendaries.

All we need now is free changing stats to our gear whenever we want/need so that we can TRUELY play around with all builds. But I just can’t see this happening….

This alone is better than all LS combined.

Me too, I loved that option in GW1. It’s one of those small things that make the gameplay smoother and more enjoyable.
