I’m not sure if this is a bug, or part of the story, or just a mistake someone’s made, but…

Why are there still Sonic Periscopes showing up? And why, when I took one down in Snowden Drifts, was I attacked by several waves of Molten Alliance? (Yes, it was the standard small event where they suddenly appear to attack you for attacking a periscope, “Defeat Molten Alliance forces in the area”.)

The dungeon was taken away. The chance to get Fused weapons was taken away. Why? Because the story was “over”. So why is the story still showing up? If this isn’t a mistake/bug, why can’t we still do the dungeon or get the weapon tickets?

(Note: The spot this happened at is East/South-East of the Exile Waypoint, at the northernmost of two crossroads between Song of Final Exile and Griffonfall.)

They didn’t get the memo

Pretty sure we just shut down one base.

Not the entire operation.

But yeah the story is over for probably a very long time so…

I’ve now let the periscope return two more times, and each time attacking it has triggered the event.

The team is aware that some remnants from the FLame and Frost Story are still active in the world. However, currently we don’t have any further news about whether this is intended or not.
