Hi! I’m Derek. I’m at level 50 in fractals, top rated in spvp, have every meta, and 12k achievement points! I love Guild Wars 2. It gives me that happy MMO feeling that I haven’t felt since Final Fantasy XI. But that doesn’t mean it’s perfect.

On the top of my list, beyond anything else by far – Rewards. The devs are trying to fix this issue, but with new content being released, they don’t learn their lesson and continue adding content with sub par rewards. For instance the last living story. The Nightmare Tower. After the achievements were done, it was empty. And it should be because for the amount of effort it took to get through it, it didn’t reward nearly as much a mindless champ run in Queensdale.

Along the same lines, high level fractal rewards are awful for how much gold it takes to be able to do them, how much effort it takes to get the gear, and how much more difficult that content is than anything else in PvE currently. The gold reward at the end is less than an Ascalonian Catacombs run. This makes absolutely no sense and needs to be looked at. Stop making the same mistakes over and over with rewards!

The next thing has been talked about since release. Bleed Cap. Yes it’s technical, but making major build type in your game almost useless in large scale fights is terrible. I always bundle up objects not taking any condi dmg with this, further neglecting this build archetype. We’ve waited so long for this change, so please PLEASE fix it already.

More dungeon revamps please! I feel like polishing up the game should have been first before living story. This would have also given you more time to think about living story plans because….

Living story seems kind of sloppy. I totally enjoy it in general, but it can be A LOT better than it is now.
