Personally, I was hoping either nerf CoF gold drop on end boss or put a DR on that thing… Inflation is no joke. From a selfish standpoint, I’ll miss the easy gold runs, but it’s something that has to be addressed sooner than later.

As more and more players flock to CoF path 1, that means less and less players doing other open world farming that brings supply into economy (Tier 6 mats).
The quickness nerf is not an effective nerf to CoF farm and caused way too much collateral damage…many topics on that I wont go into it.

Alternatively, buff drop rates of Tier 6 mats…players in game should not be discouraged to report bots because of the consideration that supply will drop for each bot that is banned. They should not be thinking that bots are a ‘necessary evil’ in an MMO.

Speaking of Tier 6 mats, crystaline dust is going so out of control that promoting materials, a game feature, does not even make sense anymore…Not working as intended as it once did at all. Even if it’s just up’ing the rate on T5/6 dusts by 2x it’ll alleviate the problem a bit.

I remember a blog earlier this year talking about these new patches will emphasize “reward” but as of right now the game is becoming either a CoF farm or buying gold via gems to afford anything…The February patch really shook the economy up with the cheap globs, indirectly increasing the demand of other items used in recipes involving globs (T6 materials) that are more or less untouched in supply.

Anyway, there are many other issues we wish to see addressed in near future, what are your main concerns?

Personally, I would have liked to see a major change in the way world boss events happen.

Possibilities

1. Make the dragon battle have a lasting effect on the landscape (You win, you hold the land and need to fight off returning dragons. You lose and the dragons minions pop up all over the landscape and you cannot battle the dragon again until they are vanquished).

2. Make dragon battles more difficult – this may have happened with scaling to 50 people? However, I imagine this will simply be add more champions to CC while fighting the dragon

3. Make dragons actually kill illusions, and do not have illusions float mid-air? This is really weird, I throw up 3 Illusionary Wardens at the beginning of the fight and never have to change it.

4. Make the targeting and spell effects on dragons more logical. If I throw up feedback on the dragon (for funs sake) it often doesn’t even go over the dragon. When it does it barely covers any of it. When I am targeting the dragon, why am I fighting it’s foot with my ranged attacks?

5. Have the world boss move around and not stand stationary for the entire fight.

6. Turn off the annoying target break feature. It is so annoying that in mid fight the target is broken from the dragon and I have to spam tab to lock onto it again.

7. Make Jungle Wurm invulnerable until it’s targetable.

8. Increase the hitpoints on Jungle Wurm

9. Increase the hitpoints on all the adds at Fire Elemental

10. Add more mechanics to these fights, other than DPS it down!!! (Jormag is a good example of added mechanics).

11. Properly address the added lag and overflow issues of dragons (Do not reduce loot to discourage people playing it). – For this, a good suggestion I have seen is to add server specific overflows that have the world boss in it at the same time as the server does if that server becomes to full. Cap the number of people who can fight the world boss and send others to this extra same server overflow. OR make world bosses instanced events and cap them at 50 people

On the note of lag, it really makes the fight lame when my skills do not work 90% of the time. I have literally spammed Weapon Swap 20+x before it took effect during a world boss. All of the other changes (difficulty, mechanics etc), will be unfair without addressing this enormous issue.

I would also like to see a new personal story step (or few steps) added. I know there is the living story, but I feel the personal story is not complete. (There are questions as to whether Zhaitan is really dead? Orr is still covered with Risen? What happened to all the characters you have left behind? etc).

Heh, CoF nerf was the thing I wanted most too. Inflation is ridiculous right now. Time warp nerf will at least bandaid it, but won’t help much.
