I always thought it was a shame that glasses and similar headgear from the Black Lion store were town clothes only. For a player like me, town clothes practically never get worn, and yet the glasses would finish off my current armor set perfectly. I can understand why some armor items were relegated to town clothes, as it is obvious that Arenanet was focusing on creating as immersive experience as possible… but glasses? Is it really more realistic to assume that my character, if he needs glasses, would only wear them in town… as an archer?! =D “I’m aiming for the blur on the left!” “0_o wait what?” “ARROW AWAY! I GOT THE BLUR WOOO!”

I’ve been hoping they would make some skinnable glasses at some point. I think that would be a pretty neat addition to the trader. That or just convert all the current glasses into skinnable level 1 items. I would certainly buy some in that case!

I too agree. I would love to slap a pair of glasses onto my char.

Hats and glass’s should be togalable just like the Helm or no helm option.

All I want for Wintersday is to be able to wear my glasses in combat. I mean, I have a really long wish list for the game, but I’m not ashamed to admit that this is at the top of it.

Wearing glasses with heavy armor doesnt make less sense than toggling off the helmet (and thus have no helmet at all except for the stats)

Yeah, it would be fun to be able to wear glasses under normal armor too. Good thing I play an ele so I can always pretend she uses magic to enhance her vision in battle.

Remove townclothes all together,let people wear whatever they want over or with their current armor.Im betting you’l be earning more $$ with it

I can agree with this, I would love for my Asura Guardian to wear boxing gloves while laying down some justification.

Whole-heartedly agree with this one. Town clothes whatever I don’t care, but glasses and some of the other headgear should be skinnable. It really makes no sense why they wouldn’t be.

For some reason ANet thought the perfect costume system in GW1 was bad so they made costumes in GW2 useless and not useable in combat oh but hey you can play the terrible brawl game with them that’s a plus..
