Guild Wars 2

I play this game at 3840×2160 resolution on my 4k TV. I have little choice in this matter cause everything else looks horrid. The game looks beautiful and plays smooth but the trouble comes in with the font. The large size is just not large enough. I have to be right in front of the TV to read anything at all.
I am sure that only having 3 choices was fine at first but now there needs to be more. Please put your 2 cents in if you think this should be a choice, or you have this problem.

I game on a 48inch LED 3DTV. Most people I know are on 32" or larger 1080P – 4k. I tried to game at a friends house on a normal 21" PC monitor couple weeks back and just nope closed out and shutdown. Can not really comment on the the OPS issue as @1080P I am fine but could see how higher resolutions on larger tv’s could start to be an issue for the fonts. I am not 4k fancy yet =P

There are more people than Anet realizes who would benefit from a larger font. Higher Resolutions, Visually impaired and those playing further from the screen.

At least with a game like blade and soul, they have a config file that you can change the UI scaling with larger than you can in game.

either a config file or larger setting in-game would suffice.

Clearer and Larger icons/text in general would be nice.

Half the time i can’t see the number of stacks buff/debuff has due to the color pallet/contrast etc….

As far as massive TV goes, it’s 55 inches.
There are a few benefits to playing on 4k screen. The TV does a lot of the work for my video card, and the high resolution totally eliminates the need for anti-aliasing. Asking for a larger font, whats the big deal. Why not, it can’t be that hard to add.
I sit on a X Rocker chair on the ground in front of the TV and play this game and I still have a hard time reading the font 3 feet from the TV.
Just add the font… Please.

On the flipside, smaller fonts/other interface things would also be nice. Playing on a 15 inch laptop screen doesn’t leave much room even when you set everything to “smallest.”

Need larger font scaling for those with LARGE monitors or playing on a TV.

Well I amplaying 3840 × 2160 in a 15inch screen laptop and the font in Largest is not large enough… I can barely see anything.
