Hi,

I came round to doing the Fawcetts revenge JP yesterday, discovered the pressure pads and figured i had to place the boulders on it. Google confirms this.
BUT….
Whenever/however I place the boulders on the pads, they rise back up as soon as i step away from them? or far too quickly for me to get round all three?
Has anyone encountered this problem?

For such a simple puzzle in quite frustrating a dodgy mechanic is screwing me over.
(Still loving the JP’s by far my fav aspect of the game)

They do reset fairly quick, make sure you use weapon swap to drop the boulders rather than the number 1 skill you get. If it’s still not working, it may be glitched but I don’t recall ever seeing this puzzle glitched before.

ahhh! ok, so simple using the 1 skill seemed the logical answer there.

Believe me when I say I’ve made the mistake a lot, I kept wondering why my brother could do it but not me :P. Glad to hear it’s working!

oh yeah… I put this JP off for a long time due to not being able to aim well with “throwing the boulder”… Felt like an idiot when I finally tried just “setting it down” on the pads. /sigh

Use swiftness and prioritize the furthest plates first. Then, notice where the “clump rocks” are to hop between to avoid falling… except for the first time so you can get the “darwin award” achievement.
