Thank you Have always amused. but, I have only one complaint.
It is no japanese text language in GW2.
So, I’m japanese player. I’m sorry my English is a poor.

GW2 is best MMORPG. So, I have invited many Japanese to this game.
There are players to the game. Also we have players that do not play the game.

A person with a game enjoys the game.
People of reason not to the game is so no Japanese Text.

Many of the Japanese MMO player have been plagued by other MMO.
A large amount of charging, Sloppy management, Binding hour.
But, GW is different from them.

Why do they do it.
Because there is no choice. They don’t play GW2.

Why they do not do GW2?
Because there is no Japanese Text in GW2.

Do you know the not been able to understand the English a lot of Japanese people?
Much is surprised really.
SO,Many Japanese will avoid the English game.
Unfortunately They will also avoid GW2 too

In Japan are a lot of MMO player.
Many of the japanese players are good people.
Many of the Japanese must have become like GW2.

In fact There is also a GW2 japanese wiki now. There is informal…

Also, Blizzerd has implemented Japanese. (sorry talk about other company)

No need Japanese server.
No need japanese audio lunguage.
only Japanese Text. It just Japanese will change.

So Please do not rely on the NCsoft.
If the GW2 to Japanese, Please and ArenaNet is doing its own.

Im one of Japanese player in GW2.
1st, I apologize to my poor english.
But, after I start to play GW2, my English is growing up a bit. maybe haha.

I love GW2 and Arenanet. I met with many overseas players in GW2. Im so happy.
Because lot of Japanese playing closed and monetary onlinegames.
I dont like it.
My japanese friends in GW2 think about same things.
so…please listen to my proposal.

I want to support to Japanese text. but I hope that GW2 support only explanatory text and character lines.
NCsoft ? no.
Anet I want your support.

I want to know the world of GW2 more deeply.
I want to know more about my favorite character’s feelings.
I want to say " do you know MMO RPG GW2 ? this is amaging ! lets join us ! " for lot of Japanese have never play GW2 yet.

This is my wish.

I’m glad more people are interested in GW2 (and rightfully so. It is one of, if not THE most fairest and well put together MMOs in the genre, and thats the only reason I play it, because I’m not being kitteng miked for 5 dollars every 4 minutes)

But I don’t think There will ever be official Japanese language support especially this deep into release, unless there is a sudden, unnaturally huge demand for it. Perhaps there is a language mod exists you can look into.

People from Japan are asking this sins the Asia release of gw2.
Its weird that nsoft isnt do anything about it.

If there is a Japanese text in GW2.
Many Japanese may be able to have more interests.

This has been asked for many languages. Even if they separate voiced and only do text it becomes a question of cost versus payoff for ArenaNet. Then there’s the added support cost for native speakers of additional languages outside of the core four NCSOFT games are localized for in the west.

NCSOFT games that support Russian are licensed to a 3rd party to run and provide additional language localization.

I agree that ArenaNet should globalise GW2. This is a goldmine for ArenaNet and NcSoft.
Add a few more languages.

- Japanese
- Korean
-Italian
- Thai
- Russian

fun fact: if you write in a unicode language in chat you won’t see what you typed. However if you select it then copy and paste in word or notepad or anywhere else you can see what you posted. This means the GW2 chat system does support more languages but for some reason they don’t show them. It’s my belief that these other languages do not have the same font, if you do what I posted above you will notice that the text that doesn’t show up in chat uses a different font.

About chat communication tool , there is no problem in English for Japanese players.
I think, If Japanese players want to enjoy the communication we should learn English little by little. English is most popular common language.

Japanese players need Japanese language for GW2 text language.
we ( im one of Japanese GW2 player) have many questions when we are playing GW2.
How to play, How to know systems, How to use this items, and more.
Korean, Italian,Thai,Russian too.

But no need many languages to chat.
Because there is no border in GW2, English is best for GW2 player’s communication.

I am not Japanese but I would love to practice my Japanese with the Japanese people and it makes me sad that I can’t do that in my favorite MMO, GW2…

Yes, No need japanese voice. No need japanese chat.
Becouse, We can use “Google Trancelater” when We talk in chat.
But, We can’t use it when We watch movie. Because We Can’t stop it.

Japanese, Korian, Italian, Thai, Russian
GW2 will be good game if add many other country language.

I hope that too,Im Japanese player.
English is not good people who need Japanese and more languages text.
If only Katakana or Hiragana, it may be the only 48 characters.
