I have several Jubilant Dye Packs that I cannot use, as I have unlocked all dyes save a few of the newest Vibrant dyes.

Will newer dye packs eventually be included in the Jubilant packs?

Probsbly not. The 3rd birthday dye pack wasn’t updated when the 4th birthday arrived and I doubt the 4th birthday dye pack will be updated when/if the 5th birthday dye pack arrives. For one thing it would give people who open it later dye choices that people who opened it previously are cut out of.

I assume they’ll continue the trend they started with the 4th anniversary pack, where the next dye pack contains all of the dyes introduced between the 4th and 5th anniversary, maybe one or two from earlier, and they just keep going like that while leaving the older packs alone.

As above, if they updated the packs then it would effectively punish players who used their kit earlier, particularly if they used it on something they didn’t absolutely love, as holding on to it for another year would have given them more options and perhaps one they like more. It would encourage people to hoarde them for the future rather than use and enjoy them for the present.

I’ve been saving the celebratory dye packs because I have unlocked them all. However, I assume it’s as useful as saving keys & gizmos from LS Season 1, i.e. as waste of a slot. (I have room to afford the waste.)

Instead, I’m also assuming that there will be a new dye pack with each birthday, so I’m reducing the amount of premium dyes that I bid on and have reduced the prices I’m willing to pay. I’d rather wait 5-11 months to get some of them than to “waste” a free unlock. (Your mileage might vary.)
