So, everyone who crafts the precursor for Juggernaut get the chromatic Ooze which will apply perma quicksilver effect on the character even when weapons are not drawn.
So everyone who just got the precursor, before or after HoT, and then crafted the Juggernaut will have the effect on dawn weapons only. And no gizmo. Juggernaut should come with its effect even when weapon is not drawn. But thats just my opinion.

Getting the pre through luck shouldn’t reward anything else but the precursor. The crafted version comes with extra goodies for those putting the time/effort/gold into the collections.

I actually like that the juggernaut doesn’t apply when sheathed. It means I can have the best of both effects and show off my normal outfit/look outside of combat.

And if you already have the juggernaut then you can just sell that precursor when done instead of using it yourself while still being able to keep the gizmo item
So you even get a nice amount of gold back

Is the gizmo worth ~165G to you? If so, craft the precursor.

To get the quicksilver tonic, you only need to get to the end of 3rd tier/ beginning of the 4th tier of Juggernaut to unlock it. After that finishing it is entirely up to you.

It’s not “perma quicksilver effect”. It last 5 minutes then you have to reapply it, which means the player has to keep an eye on the timer and reopen his inventory or keep it open and refresh it every 5 minutes. It may be worthwhile to do that while standing around talking but it’s a different story to do that while playing.
