It’s July 1st server time and will be for another 10 and a half hours. People have to remember that ArenaNet works on GMT-8, which means that just because it’s the 2nd for you, doesn’t mean it’s necessarily the 2nd for ANet.

It’s only July 2nd if you live in New Zealand, Australia or some other part of Oceania….
GW2 is an American game, you have to wait for July 2nd in their specific part of the world, and even then they could release it at any time of day – they need their staff to be in at work in case anything goes wrong and needs fixing. It’s not like it hits July 2nd and everything happens automatically….
