Sadly this probably will not happen. I’m with you on this one wholeheartedly. After having spent 20-25 hours over the last 3 years trying to do this puzzle including minimizing my settings and watching easily a dozen youtube video guides (yes I mentioned this in another post), I truly cannot accomplish this either. It seems to me that between the 10k drinks and the complete the JP x3 they’ve replaced the ridiculous money cost of the Halloween Shoulders with a ridiculous time cost that most people can’t or don’t want to shell out.

I hope they don’t change it. There’s no sense in removing achievements from more difficult activities. Too many players feel they’re entitled to these rewards for having simply paid for the game.

I like so far that GW2 gives us a choice on how to go about with completing quests and all that stuff, encourages collaboration, but apparently this jumping puzzle as a requirement is not really good and encouraging to us casual players.

Unfortunately, not all people are good with jumping puzzles, just like me. I understand that while it seems you can master this puzzle after an unknown number of tries, it just doesn’t work for us who are not good at jumping puzzles for several reasons:

1. Really not that good at jps, especially with timegated ones (like, disappearing platforms like the snowflakes after 1 second)
2. Some of us have work and school, even at the holidays, so not much time to practice over and over again.
3. Those with carpal tunnel syndrome, so we really couldn’t do the same thing repeatedly all over again for practice at an extended number of time.

We really wouldn’t mind farming the reward instead as an alternative to getting the Snowglobe for the Winter Shoulders.
