This has got to be the #1 most annoying thing in the game right now. When underwater battles happen, if at all during a week of gameplay, why should we be forced to buy a 2nd bloodlust sigil to keep up our edge? Why are we being penalized in WvW for using the water for maneuvering a group? Dont get me wrong, I think the fact that unequipping your stacking sigil removes your stacks is a great idea (except in pve where speedruns are a great way to challenge your group and building up stacks can be a pain) but the whole underwater stack losing thing is a step too far.

Team Deathmatch for PvP – Raise the AoE cap for WvW – More unique events for PvE

You need to have the same stacking sigil on your underwater weapon. It was a stupid change and Anet knows about it but they have yet to comment.

You need to have the same stacking sigil on your underwater weapon. It was a stupid change and Anet knows about it but they have yet to comment.

The annoying part about that is it doesn’t even work half the time when you do have your underwater weapon equipped with the sigil.

Not sure why they ever bothered to do this; I figured they wanted to expand play, not limit it.

The actual change is nice, as you have to have a weapon with stacking on it to maintain your stacks. As you go underwater, you basically equip new weapons that don’t have the sigils on them.
