Does anyone have problems with the camera when playing a Norn and doing jumping puzzles.
The problem is most obvious when you are in a confined space or underwater, and manifests itself as its very hard to see where you are going.
I just tried the jumping puzzle in Lornars Pass where the entrance is underwater in a small room and with an Asura had no probs, but no hope with the Norn.
Alternatively is it possible to make your char smaller.

Have you tried playing around with the camera controls (namely Field of View and Collision Sensitivity)?

I’ve found that by tweaking these two controls, you get less of the “snapping” that happens when the camera suddenly zooms in on your character, or when your camera gets “stuck” in a wall or object.

Other than that, I would suggest playing on a smaller character or use a transformation tonic. I completed most jumping puzzles on an asura, just to be sure that I would reduce the chance of getting such problems.

EDIT: You can make your character smaller by using a Total Makeover Kit. Personally I think the cost would be a little steep if your only concern is the ability to do jumping puzzles.

adjust collision sensitivity to the max (rightmost).

Buy some Sinister Automatic tonics,they’re cheap.Transforming you into an asuran while you’re able to do jp’s.

I completed all jumping puzzles with a max size Charr… before the new camera controls was even an idea.

Just use the Endless Mystery Cat Tonic. You even get the choice of kitten/cat/big cat for size, as well as various fur options.

Any human tonic that allows jumping will work. Many of them are dirt cheap on the trading post.
