I have a couple of suggestions regarding “junk”.

1) I’d like to be able to designate certain items (minor runes and sigils) as junk. This would mean that I’d auto sell them to merchants.

2) Items that say “This item only has value as part of a collection.” should also be junk, right? I understand that once you’ve picked them up they’ve been unlocked and that’s all you need.

Thoughts?

Every single time everyone gives praise and hallelujah to the concept of marking minor runes and sigils for what they are: JUNK
And yet, after 4 years, anet still hasn’t even given their opinion on the matter.

As for your second matter, yea, collection items should be trophies, I agree, but I don’t get them very often so I’m not too bothered by them.

Fair enough – I don’t hang out here often but from what you say I shouldn’t hold my breath.

Whilst on the topic of junk related wishes that will probably go unfulfilled I’d like junk to over-ride invisible bags. Again so useless you’d never want to NOT sell it.

No please. I like to keep some of the collection items as mementos of going on the collection journey, like Rabsovitch’s Lost Treasure or the flowers from the Leaf of Kudzu I collection. These are items I can’t get back once they’re gone. For you to sell them if you don’t want them is just one extra click. For me to sell my junk and make sure I don’t accidentally sell those items if they are automatically classified as junk is a lot more complicated.
