Hello! I don’t mean to put anyone down, or to attract any negative attention. But, it feels like to me that the general community has become more negative. I remember (it wasn’t that long ago) the 3-day head start. I didn’t see any hateful comments in /map chat. Only, people saying they loved the game, and helping other players out. Obviously, that bubbly feeling isn’t going to last forever. But, now I’m seeing an increase amount of hate in /map AND in the forums. A lot of people putting other players down for asking questions. Calling them names and being immature. What happened to the nice and mature community? Please, don’t misunderstand me. I know the nice and mature players are still plenty.

Also, please do not tell me to turn off /map chat or not to look at the forums. I enjoy helping people, and will continue to do so. I’m only asking if other players have noticed in increase in negative comments. Have a nice day!

People are very upset by a lot of things thats happened lately, sadly not all understand this and this divide is taking its toll.

There are plenty that understand that people are angry, but the problem is some people are so enraged they can’t see anything any other way and see there view as the only possible truth that exists.

There are plenty of people who attempt to see things objectively and rationally, but you see them get attacked by someone who feels strongly in one way or another. These people are the core of the problem. They seem incapable of an actual discussion. They spout off opinion as fact, and aren’t willing to see other peoples views. The hostility, regardless of which side of the discussion really needs to stop, and people have stop believing what they think is absolutely the truth. There are people on both sides of the fence who don’t seem to have an issue talking like adults, but there are always those who resort to personal attacks which just feeds the negativity.

Forums getting hate bombed by a section of players. Most of whom are dissatisfied over the set of stats on Ascended and feel hurt over it being introduced.

In game? Map chat is often quiet elsewhere except to note if big event chains start or asking if anyone wants to go take a crack at something. (“Melandru is up, who wants to kick some butt?”)
