Thanks for the 20 mystic coins, I know I have a lot more to grind to use them and they’ve earned a special place in my bank to gather dust, for now.

The 67 copper you gave me was well received, in the sense that it was not well-received at all, considering I get 5 silver for a daily reward.

I haven’t bothered with the monthly reward but if that’s all you get then it’s a bit stupid. I bet you also get a few crappy blue items that your profession can’t use?

Nope, no crappy blue items I can’t use… the 20 coins, the 67 copper and some XP.. that wasn’t much.

Why does arenanet seem so intent on giving us horrible rewards for everything in this game?

Dungeons drop blues, greens if you are lucky and things like monthly achievements give 67 copper and mystic coins which are barely ever useful.. really?

Where is the harm in giving people cool stuff? Even just unique skins? Sigh.

Imagine if monthly achievements all gave a unique weapon skin/armor skin set depending on what month it was, now that would be cool..

You do get some achievement points though.

20 Mystic Coins is actually a really good reward.

You could always sell the coins on the Trading Post.

Well, i am not mad. It gave me a good laugh.
I am salvaging anyway almost everything so i dont bother with the gold i spend on the salvagekits. But the fact that i get more gold from daily then for monthly is still making me doublefacepalm.

I’m 30 player kills from it, and it’s been so slow to get those (clearly doesn’t count when doing support in wvw, or so it seems). A part of me hoped that it would be on par with map completions, but mystic coins? I’ll probably never use them as they need so many. :\

You still gain xp at 80 because every time you would gain level 80 again, you earn a skill point. You’re not limited to just 80.

Someone must have forgot to put the s instead of c behind the number 67.

In my experience the rewards for achievements vary depending on the character you complete it on. eg. I will earn more xp and money if I complete it on a higher level character than a lower level alt.

I’d hate to see what one would get for doing the monthly achievement on a lowbie character, then. What would you get, like 1 coin and a few sticks of butter?

As far as I know, the amount of mystic coins you get remains consistent. The amount of exp and money depends on the level of the character you complete it with.

Yeah – I really hoped it would be better than this.
I got mine right before my GF: She worked so hard for it, she hates PvP and the WvW stuff was such a challenge for her (and her pc).

When I opened the reward chest I had to leave the room so she wouldnt see the dissapointment in my eyes!

Lol which genius came up with that? Even if u got 18 of those mystic coins and 5 silver it would make more sense… not that it would be more profitable, probably less but come on…

I guess they cant spoil the economy because they need some ppl to buy gems or else this lovely game wont get much further development but this decision seems somewhat cruel.
