Im fine with 250, more than happy, and i have 14 alts to get it on.

I have 9 alts. Why do you have the 5 extra? I ran out of classes to make toons for at 9.

I still have 1 unused character slot… so I’m actually curious here rather than critical.

One per class(My engineer is still at 57, just cant get into engineers enough to level it up), And then i have one sylvari mesmer(wanted a different race from the other 13 charr i have, so 2 mesmers there) I have two Eles, ones a RP character the other is a character i seldom play(My oldest), and two Necros, i think i have two rangers too. Most of my characters are Charr too, despite their clippy crappy armor.

And other than elites, you can do this right now in GW2. You can start a new character level them to 80, unlock all other abilities, fully equip yourself. And… that’s it. So don’t give me these other arguments like this.

exactly you have to level them to 80 first

just like you need to “level” your character to 250 hero points now first

just because getting to 80 is easy for veterans now with tomes doesnt mean there is no farming needed technically for that too

You know it’s going to happen. Why fight the inevitable? There’s no reason at all for players to have to do 10 times the work for .01 times the reward. So just drop it now, happy player base.

It’s not inevitable. The player base seems to be deeply divided on this issue, hence the compromise to 250. That ensures that people who wanted 400 still have their sense of progression, and people who just wanted to play their new specs could do so within a short time as long as they had already explored Tyria. The outraged threads on this matter have mostly vanished now, so people are moving on.

I was one of the people who thought 400 was ridiculous but 250 is fine, even as a Revenant.

I love that they FORCE you to unlock traits in THE MANNER they choose… and not how you choose to level/progress/unlock the skills YOU want in the MANNER you choose…

Seeing as how I AM the one who mother kittening paid for the god kitten content.

Mastery Level 7. 1 in tyria and 6 in HoT. just finished elite spec earlier today via mix of HoT challenges and some wvw for proofs (okay wvw gave me half the points i needed). It’s not that hard and really only takes a day or two. The journey was fun.

I seem to gain levels really quickly for my Tyria masteries, but my Maguuma masteries are coming in much more slowly.
