Guild Wars 2

I usually roam around Obsidian Sanctum looking for a fight or some fun, and today when I zoned in I saw a sub-80 Mesmer there hopping around messing with the crystal. I asked him if he needed a hand through the puzzle, he said yes, so I hopped on my Mesmer to port him and off we went.

We got through the whole puzzle, both of us fell once or twice, I ported him back up when I could, and we made it all the way through to the chest. Chatted a bit, talked about how he was new and loving the game, then went our separate ways.

About 10 minutes later I get an in-game mail saying “thanks for helping me through the jumping puzzle,” and attached to that mail was 5 black-lion keys!!!

This is by far the best thank you I’ve ever gotten for helping someone out. When I took the keys it deleted the email (which is a shame because I didn’t have a chance to write back or get his name), so I wanted to say thanks here. Thank you! And I hope you keep having fun in Guild Wars 2

Used to hang out there a lot on my Thief or Guardian and show randoms how to do the jumps and kill evil redz for them before I eventually ended up spamming WvW for loot bagz instead. Such a fun zone for pvp though. Only place I could satisfy my need to be a PKPKer and I love JPs. Hope you find your missed connection. XD

Something like that happened to me before when I helped someone with something and got gifted a Key and the mail poofed. I remember getting something moderately rare from it too but I don’t remember what it was or what I helped them with. :x My memory is bahd, I’m justa dog.
