Shared party renowned quests. Like if you are in a party and you share the progress gained from completing the heart. It would give more players, especially new players, reason to join parties. And from those parties they make more friends and form guilds or join guilds. Just a thought.

What’s the rush, hearts take barely any time to complete and most of the actions are instanced or you just attack the same mobs.

It isn’t the rush. I mean the balance could be they take more to.complete. It’s more towards giving more purpose of partying other than anti-dc and dungeons. I feel that parties aren’t used as much as they could be. Like such potential there for guild growth and increasing our ever growing friendly community.

What happens if they split up, say 5 people in the same party and they all go and do a different heart? Will they get progress for all 5 hearts or even completion, even though they are doing another heart at that time? In theory, people could get completion with hearts and never actually do that heart.

Maybe they could make it so they just share completion progress if they are in the vicinity of the heart to prevent that.

these renowned quests can be done by one person very fast and easy . no need of other people as they only get in the way. and make the whole thing useless and not worth doing at all

That is why you scale it for 2-5 people and make it more enjoyable to be doing it as a group. And of course you’ll need to be in the heart area to share progress. Like it would be quicker as 2 but requires more overall progress but less than if you did it solo. So 100 for 1 person, 120 for 2, 150 for 3 etc etc

I wonder if this sort of system would have leaching. I know there are some people who hate map completion but need it for a Legendary. In theory then they could pay someone to party up and do hearts with them and get the hearts done faster. If the completion gain is enough, they might be able to do a little at each heart then go afk and allow the other party member(s) to work on it. Then come back from being afk and do any remaining needed after the other party member(s) are done.

It’s almost like you want to play a game that encourages people to make friends and do content with them.

Weird.

I agree 100%

I want to be able to complete lower level maps with friends that are new to the game, and atm i’m finishing them up far too quickly (i’m talking minutes here) and they simply can’t keep up.

Make it slower for me, I don’t care, I just wanna be able to follow their phase.

The karma, coin and exp gain would need to be considered and adjusted also. Let’s say there is a party of 3 at a heart. Two people are doing most the work and a 3rd is doing some of it, but while working on the heart he is also talking on the phone and maybe doing some TP flipping. Does he get the same amount of exp, coin and karma as the 2 that did most of the work? If not, it will require the game to monitor the work he did as percent of the whole, rather than the current system that has the heart set as done or not done, with done giving the full amount of exp, coin and karma.

Most definitely, make it advance slower the more people you have in the same group, 1/2 completion with two, 1/3 with three, etc.

I am glad other people see the potential of this though! I agree with the amount of reward for how much you have done, although they have shown they can do that with the recent mordrem event, where you got rewarded for the amount you did. So they have the system in place, just will need tweaking!
