I only fawned over the cultural armors, and only recently (since launch, even) looked at the weapons.

Am I correct in understanding that all the T1 weapon skins are the same as the random loot weapons I pick up here and there? Only the T2 and T3 are unique? Are you just paying for the stats (at the time) or is there a difference I don’t see?

And armor is unique across the board as far as I’ve seen, yeah?

Thanks!

The T1 AND the T2 can be found as loots for some, as personal story rewards for others. T3 stuff is completely unique though.

T1 cultural weapons are also available as Masterwork (green) drops in areas associated with that culture (e.g. Glyphic weapons can be found in Maguuma zones, such as Metrica Province).

T2 cultural weapons are also available as Rare (yellow) drops in areas associated with that culture (e.g. Aureate weapons can be found in Krytan zones, such as Gendarran Fields).

T3 cultural weapons are mostly unique to the karma vendors, though there are also a few times in the Personal Story where weapons with the same skins as the T3 human Seraph weapons can be selected as rewards.

Cultural armors of all tiers are unique to the armor vendor, there is no other way to get them.
