Hey guys, i need a big amount of karma for my legendary, do you guys have any tips for karma farming or a quick way to get a lot of karma, since they patched the daily karma gift. Anyway let me know if you guys have any tips and if you can put the amount of karma that you get per hour or something like that.

Thank you

you get more the higher your personal reward level is compared to the fractal instance level…

In addition to Fractals mentioned above, Scarlet Invasions and Tequatl will give you about 20k karma each. The karma train in WvW (usually happens on Fridays) is another way to quickly rack up some karma.

I recommend the fractals. That way your actively playing, and not brain dead circling queens dale.

My biggest advice considering you mentioned legendary..is just enjoy the ride and set daily goals. Plan your work and work your plan and don’t over grind and kill the game for yourself. I aimed to earn 4-8 gold daily thru dungeons/fractals. I used the fractals for shards. I used the drops (rare) for ecto. I collected mats for weap/arm smithing/daily for mystic coin. I tried to keep it very varied so I didn’t get sick of the game by doing the same thing every day for 3 months. In the end my fractal knowledge/score grew. I got vials of mist essence for later use. Tonnes of mats. Salvage heaps to raise my magic find astronomically (In the end i could in one fractal get sometimes get 6-11 rares ranging from mask to cores.) And saved enough cash for icy runestones. Don’t be in a overt hurry to finish your legend that it kills the fun for you.

If you need karma for your legendary, it’s probably that you need obsidian shards. By running fractals you can also get fractal relics which you can turn into obsidian shards as well! So doing fractals is really the way to go for your Legendary. Play one run of each tier for maximizing your reward. Unfortunately, tomorrow we’re reset to level 30, so you will need to play from there if your level was above 30.

I do any event I randomly come across in my travels and accidentally collect karma every day, but as others have stated dungeons seem to be the most reliable constant source if you need to focus on it specifically.

Also helps if you sing
Karma karma karma karma karma chameleon,
You come and go, you come and go.

WvW is a great way to increase karma if you dont enjoy fractals. Especially true with guild karma and/or purchased boosters. I’ve gained about 300k karma in a short period of time just with WvW. I am in a guild that has a good presence in WvW so even though we donthave the biggest zerg we do a lot of damage and manage to take lots of things.

wvw hands down winner for karma, if your winning recap camps towers and keeps the other side take back, if you’re losing then go cap back your camp towers and keep

i get about 50-80k kamra on a good day. even though we lost terribly against FA last week i still made a nice fortune in karma. got 525k against them,. now just need 1 more stack for my last mastery gift.
