over the past few days I came back into the game and finally decided that I want a legendary, but then I come back and cant seem to get anything for karma, like seriously I have 100 % map completion, 249 obsidian shards, 1 more and I make my first high tier gift, only 1.7k karma and then this happens. Please oh please bring back the karma jugs or anything of the sort, or at least put them in dungeons or something, you made the game 10 fold harder anet! Comeon!

It’s still easy to get karma. I suggest getting some boosters and banners and doing WvW in the usual places plus Edge of the Mists plus events in Cursed Shore and other places in Orr. Honestly i hardly even play and i get more karma than i will ever use. Do your daily and monthly too as you get more karma on completing those. If you play a lot you will have enough in a few weeks…less if a lot really means A LOT.

You are forbidden to get good karma in GW2 anymore, same thing with anything else of any use in this game.

Are you an employee?

While I consider EotM to be good karma (by today’s standards), non-EotM WvW karma, as is being suggested by some players, is very server dependent. For instance, on my server, Friday, if the match is effectively decided, occasionally has groups in actual karma trains. On any other day, this is far from the case and I consider karma in WvW to be incidental.

Dont forget under leveled fractals are also a good source of karma. At least 10
Levels under your current reward level for maximum karam gained. Throw in a karma booster amd you can get 10k per run easy.

Or they could swap bloodstone dust and obi shard drops. Everything that gives 3-5 bloodstone now gives you 3-5 obi shards. Bloodstone dust can only be acquired by karma, fractal relics and laurels. I’d say our requests are equally (im)possible….but at least people would like mine for a week or 2.

I have no idea how you play the game but c’mon. I spent 400k karma the other day for ascended recipes on my alts, couple of days later I look down and I’ve recovered that karma and more. I spend karma like water and always have around 1mil spare. I’d probably have 20-30mil karma if I stopped spending it on tradeskill stuff and alt gear/skins.

It is insanely easy to gain karma through many avenues, be they PVE or WvW.

Try the Clown Pavilion. Baka Blitz has a pretty good karma payout if you get in an organized map. I find myself with more karma than I know what to do with.

EOTM best way fo farm karma

ps: or wvw if your server has a 70ish huge zerg running over everything and has a tick of 500+, but most of the time the other servers try to defend and that takes then forerver and thats why EOTM is better for farming

This! Gold Crown Pavilion gather near 3k per event with boosts every 5-10mins (depends how quick bosses die and donations).

Otherwise do Teq something near 20k karma per run. Although you generally have to turn up 30 mins early to get a decent organized server or ask for a taxi in open world LFG.

Mix it up with EoTM as well, saves farming karma in one place unless you really enjoy that content.
