I noticed its possible to combine 4 karma items into the mystic forge and then get an item back you can sell to the vendor or salvage.

I was wondering if this legal within the game or considert exploiting as you are not allowed to sell/salvage karma items apperently.

Some insight into to this would be greatly appreciated.

Nothing allowed by the game engine can be considered an exploit. Putting karma items into the Mystic Forge is fine.

Anet is well aware of this. Until they say something officially, we can only assume it’s legal.

Its the same deal with dungeon armor/weapons. So if it was alright for dungeon items to be put in, then karma should be fine as well.
