Pretty much this. I had to wait a few months to purchase it but it will almost always come back when they do another LS based promotion.

They tend to bring back all the NPC weapons a few times a year, usually advertised as a part of a big sale or something similar. Just keep your ear to the ground and you’ll see it eventually.
