Keep the bankers together please?
In Lions Arch, the personal banker is in Traders Forum and the guild banker is in Postern Ward. All the other major cities have them close together. When HoT goes live are we getting a banker closer to the guild hall place? Could we get them somewhat closer together please?
Once HoT goes live all the guild banks in all the cities will be removed. You’ll need to access your guild bank by going to your guild hall or by going to the instance in LA (hopefully it will be a button on the UI and you won’t have to jump to LA from another city and run to the instance to access your guild bank)

“Once your guild is registered with the Guild Initiative, you’ll gain access to their new headquarters in Lion’s Arch. We’ve used new technology to make the Guild Initiative Headquarters an instance that is shared by you and your guild members. While the Initiative Headquarters is not a full guild hall, it will provide access to existing features that we’re moving out of the guild panel for those guilds that do not upgrade to the expansion.”
ANet may give it to you.
I’m not sure that means there will be no Guild Bank NPCs in any cities, anymore. That may happen, but I don’t see any clear indication it will. ‘Moving existing features…(from)..the guild panel’ doesn’t necessarily mean NPCs, as they do not reside in the Guild Panel, nor can you access the Guild Bank from the Guild Panel.
Thus, only time will tell.
Wait, I’m going to have to go to LA, and then even further into a specific instance just to access my guild bank?!?
There is absolutely no evidence to support that it would.” -AnthonyOrdon

It says that the existing features will be moved out of the guild panel and over to the “Guild Initiative HQ”. It doesn’t indicate there will be other ways to access guild banks outside the instance or perhaps by jumping to your guild hall.

Guild bank is not part of the Guild panel, you do not have to worry about the guild bankers being removed from towns.

This.

I hope you’re right. What I suspect will happen is that those with HoT guilds will have to jump to their guild hall to access the guild bank and those without a HoT guild will need to go to LA. I guess we’ll have to see how it works out.

Yes, I’ve seen that statement you’ve quoted a couple of times. My interpretation is that you could not access the Guild Bank from the Guild Panel, anyway, so it would not be ‘moving’.
The Guild Panel really has nothing to do with the Guild Vault. Still, I suppose the Guild Vault might become something like the Mystic Forge in the future, which would be a shame. It may be that not every Guild will find it easy to obtain a Guild Hall. Yet, many of those have a Guild Vault.
Let’s hope for the best! =)

I hope y’all are right. It would be extremely inconvenient for them to remove the guild banks and set them in an instance, whether it’s a guild hall or LA.
