Q:
I’ve noticed that when taming/charming animals in the game, when you name them then switch out and come back to that pet, their names go back to Juvenile “insert creature” instead of the name you gave it.
Does anyone know if GW2 plans to fix this?

This is pretty much exactly what’s going on.
Tl;dr: we may change this some day, but it’s not going to happen in the near future, and it’s not a bug.
