Hi guys, I’ve been playing a lot of GW2 lately (doing pvp, wvw, world bosses, etc.) and I noticed that there isn’t a “target nearest downed ally” or “target nearest downed enemy” key binding. Now as a person who primarily uses the scrapper and the druid, I believe having such a key binding would make it easier to use the function gyro and “search and rescue” to its fullest potential.

How do you guys feel about this?

I would have originally said no to this, before HoT, but you’re right. With the scrapper and druid, it now makes sense.

but “Search and Rescue!” doesn’t require a target and in theory it should already default to the nearest. Ressing in general doesn’t require you to select a target either except in the case where you have a downed person next to some inconsiderate dead person trying to get more people killed.

in a party, you can click the person in the party list to target them.

saying that I would appreciate having a key-bind for it, or even a true ‘target nearest/next ally’ (which doesn’t seem to target any player characters, despite what it’s called)
