Can we please change the message when you kick someone from squad? Whenever you kick or get kicked from a squad, you just have that message on full display for everyone to see. It feels bad whether you’re the one kicking or getting kicked, at least for me. “Kicked” just seems very vulgar. Maybe something like “xxxx was removed from squad by xxxx” would be better IMO.

The problem is that won’t solve the problem of feeling bad if you’re the type to feel bad when kicked or kicking.

People will still feel just as bad about being removed from the squad as they would about being kicked from the squad. It isn’t the message on the screen that makes players feel anything about being kicked or kicking someone. It’s the act of kicking or being kicked that does it.

“Removed from” is less harsh, to be sure.

I don’t think it’s worth ANet’s time to change the text unless they are fiddling with the mechanic for some other reason. As Seera explained (and Torzini implied), some people are going to feel bad anyhow.

Our number one concern can’t be people’s feelings.

I’ve heard of other, not as nice reasons.
