Back on topic, however… The only thing this plot has done is encourage me to roll more Sylvari, which I will be doing as soon as I finish world completion on my football Asura.

Sylvari never bothered me for some reason, even though since I started playing I’ve thought humans were and still are the master race. So therefore… I will neither vote for or against kicking Sylvaris… Charr Asura and Norn on the other hand…

Also, Race would be far more playable if it did meet it’s first art Concept(look at Caithe).

I mainly play Human or Norn characters, and in light of these news, I will stand side by side with any Sylvari who tries to defy the control of Mordremoth. They’ve been successful while the Pale Tree somehow protected them and have shown themselves as worthy allies all this time.

The moment they’re suddenly in trouble, we turn on them? I will be so godkitten angry if my character doesn’t take the side of Canach now, I demand that my character at the very least gets the choice whether or not to side with the Sylvari who still try to remain out of Mordremoth’s control.

I also play mainly human/Norn characters, and I’ve been appalled by some of the terrible things I’ve been reading in the sylvari threads the last couple of days, even if they were intended as jokes (some things you should never, ever joke about). I have a sylvari character, a ranger, that I really haven’t done anything with in two and a half years – she’s still only at level 20 and that mostly through the expenditure of tomes – but I’ve more than half a mind now to start seriously developing her, as my own little “take that” to the anti-sylvari racism – even if, again, mostly in jest – that I’ve had a bellyful of the last two days.

Yep, nothing different between Evil Sylvari and Asura Inquest… just because some of them are evil doesn’t mean you take it out on the whole race (even if I’d like to smother every little Asura due to their annoying arrogance :P)

Yep, nothing different between Evil Sylvari and Asura Inquest… just because some of them are evil doesn’t mean you take it out on the whole race (even if I’d like to smother every little Asura due to their annoying arrogance :P)

There is a difference. Asura being Inquest and doing their evil science is totally voluntary. I would say they are a bit worse because of that.
Sylvari that decided to be soundless to stop feeling the feelings of another Sylvari are now being controlled by Mordremoth against their will.
As for Dream Sylvari, we know the Pale Tree protects them, so they are no threat.
