Ha! I have more Sylvari characters than any other race specifically because I think the opposite.

Human men have this weird chunky look, even on the thinnest body model.

Charr have their hunched over stance, slow, loping run, and look terrible in 95% of the available armor.

Norn men have kitten. ’Nough said.

I have several Asura as well, but that’s because their supposed to look like ugly little goblin-rats.

The Sylvari have an amazing design, a wide range of colors, proportional figures, and bioluminescence.

Norn do not vilify an entire race. We judge each being’s merit as an individual.
We may not like certain groups, factions, cabals,etc.(see Son of Svanir), but we tolerate so long as peace is maintained.
Break the piece, we break you.
A Norn will remain neutral to a Sylvari, until such time as that being earns our respect, … or our wrath.

Just don’t go role-playing in real life… this could be dangerous, as YOU OP could get hurt. Probably in the face.

Technically we don’t know that you can’t be branded, I don’t believe there were any sylvari in kralk’s way. You can’t be risen… Well how about we get a few salads to die and test that out… Yea the norn are special I’ll give them that….

My main char is a Sylvari. We Sylvari have the inate knowledge needed to defeat Mordremoth in our souls. As the saying goes, “keep your friends close, keep your enemies even closer”. It might pay off in the end.

I think just in case my main (sylvari guardian) is going to invest in a set of armor that completely covers the face…

The Sylvari have two factions currently, the ones from the Grove and the Nightmare court and they are at odds with each other. Will racial preservation force them to settle their differences in order to survive a racial cleansing? Another interesting point is the Pale Tree, mother to the Sylvari. Did the dragon actually attempt to kill her or just to weaken her and if she did birth the firstborn 25 years before current date was Mordremoth her consort?

well they are the 2nd least played race in the game… They wouldn’t make a whole expansion about them unless they had a fetish… Oh.. yeah.

Now now, we shouldn’t just kick them from our parties because they are Sylvari. What we should do is transport them to their own internment camps!

There are at least two additional sylvari factions: the Soundless, who choose to cut themselves off from the Pale Tree and sylvari who are not born from the Pale Tree at all, such as Malyck.

RP is an opt-in activity. Kicking random, non-RPing players for RP reasons is bad and doubtless falls afoul of the TOS / kick abuse rules.

If you want to RP, have fun! But don’t try to excuse trolling with it.

I think it’s a great idea, too, so you seem to be wrong.

I think it would also be a great idea if some people in this thread stopped going all OMGTRIGGERMOMENT and perceiving offense with things that were either said in jest or to provoke these frantic reactions we see so many of.

In other words, stop giving people power if you don’t want them to be powerful.

May as well make bad jokes and empty threats, because the game mechanics don’t support any real action. You can’t actually be a bad Sylvari, and you can’t actually make a salad out of one either.

If the game had actual factions you could back up your hot air (or try to).

But all we have in GW2 is the equivalent of badlands chat, without the option of raiding crossroads.
