I can’t understand why anet gives the ability to players to kick the instance openers. It’s almost impossible to solo and sell a path without having a friend in your party in order to avoid being kicked out of the dungeon. This gives the ability to trolls to annoy other players and ruin this game. What do you guys think about this?

Honestly, it seems like there is no easy solution for this. If you don’t allow leaders to be kicked, then it allows them to be able to troll their parties without any type of punishment for doing so. If things don’t change and they are still allowed to be kicked, then anyone else can troll the dungeon by kicking them at the end or whatever.

IMO, they should be allowed to be kicked because at least there are ways to help prevent it from happening, like bringing a guild member to cancel the kick or to kick the person who is trolling.

That is just my opinion though.

People shouldn’t be able to sell dungeon runs. It’s bad enough instance openers can leave the dungeon at any time and kick everybody out, but to be able to hijack and run at the final boss just to sell it to other people is plain stupid.

First of all, I’m talking about guys who solo dungeons and do not try to exploit the dungeons (like myself). It is too difficult for me to sell a dungeon when trolls have the ability to kick me whenever they want. Selling dungeons is completely legal if you do not use exploits and if you do not kick the rest of the party. Seconly, if the instance opener is trolling the group then you have the right to leave the party. I mean what’s the difference? If you kick the instance opener the whole party will exit to dungeon (btw not all the party members may agree with kicking the instance opener and will be super kittened of if you do kick him) and if you click leave party you will leave the instance. There is no point in making available to kick the instance opener.

Maybe try asking for money up front? I know it may be a hard sell, since most people are not in a habit of handing over cash for services before the service is rendered (real or virtual currency), but I really can’t think of any other solution to the problem that is currently available. Unfortunately some people just behave poorly when they are behind the anonymity of their computer screens and no game designer can possibly forsee all the ways people can and will choose to be donkies.
