This happens every time i kill Karka Queen .. my client crashes.

Make a bug report ingame when that happens.

Hey, you were on the same map I was! If it makes you feel any better, I doubt you missed any good loot. I certainly didn’t get any.

Hopefully the stability will improve on September 9th. It’s one of the things the feature patch is supposed to address.

I don’t even know what I got.. i could still run around and loot stuff with the message up.. but no icon pictures would show up.. just black boxes lol

Honestly, it sounds like your client could be corrupted, causing your game to crash when a certain unique graphic or sound is supposed to play on the death of the Karka Queen. (Such as the rendering of the reward chest.)

The solution in this case would be recompiling/repairing your data files. This can be done easily. Open a command prompt, and launch the game with the command:
“GW2.exe -repair”

This may take a while!

Anyway, I would suggest posting this in the “tech support” subsection of the forum first, and see if people can give you more or better suggestions.

This is probably an issue on your end. I have a similar problem sometimes due to some bad RAM in my system that I haven’t replaced. You should investigate the error report and try to determine what’s causing it to happen, at least to some degree.

I crashed too, then I found a ‘karka queen pre’ listing in LFG, taxied in and killed it again for the loot.

This is frustrating though.

Partially wishing that Megaserver system had “Reconnect on disconnect” function…
