No trait unlock for killing risen high wizard at gates of arah defence. Fix please anet.
Killed Risen High Wizard no trait
I had no issues with getting the trait. You need to make sure you actually TAG the high wizard and do damage before 50% HP. If not, then you won’t get it.
it is working as designed, at least it did for me – until Grenth!
I did quite a bit damage to it, it tasted my hundred blades atleast 4 times and am full zerker :P Although he was below 50% when i got there. It never was an issue before with any boses :/

It is pretty simple really,you are not supposed to kill him on defence but on offence.
Basically you need to fail the defence event so that you can kill him in order to take back the gates of arah.
Killing him on defence simply gives no trait.
I killed him on defense with my ranger and got the trait.
